It has been quite some time since we last saw something of Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, the new entry in the series by FromSoftware releasing this year on PC and consoles, and it seems like the Japanese studio is gearing up to finally show more of its next game soon.
As reported on the ResetERA forums, a well-known Chinese leaker on the a9vg forums who revealed plenty of information correctly in the past, such as the launch date of the God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus Mode update, teased with an image that a new trailer for the next game by FromSoftware will be shared in one week, on April 28th.
Even if the Chinese leaker is not correct, all signs seem to suggest that FromSoftware is going to show its next game very soon. Earlier this week, the game's key art emerged online thanks to the Microsoft Store, and the game's version also seems to suggest that work on it is quite head. As such, it is likely Armored Core VI will indeed launch in 2023, as announced last year.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon isn't the only project currently in the works by FromSoftware, as the Japanese developer is also working on the Elden Ring expansion Shadow of the Erdtree. While the release date for the expansion of one of the best games ever released by the studio has yet to be confirmed, leakers suggest that it will release after the new entry in the Armored Core series, which is apparently releasing between September and October.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon launches sometime this year on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. We will let you know when the game launches as soon as possible. so stay tuned for all the latest news.
