Well, looks like we can already tick off a few boxes from the Armored Core 6 bingo card. Bandai Namco just released a three-minute gameplay trailer showcasing all the mechanical mayhem you'll get up to in the coming sequel as well as a confirmed release date of August 25.
The trailer starts out in orbit around Rubicon 3. Handler "Walter", augmented human C4-621, gets activated and sent down to the planet's surface in a dangerous high-altitude drop. We're then treated to the dark and dismal planet covered in strip mines, geothermal plants, and massive industrial complexes. There are no plants, no animals, no life--just massive mechs and high-explosive ordinance.

It wouldn't be an Armored Core game if there weren't more missiles than you could ever hope to count.
Best of all, it turns out that the rumored August release date is true. Armored Core 6 arrives on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on August 25. You can pre-order now to get the Melander C3 G13 special customization "Tenderfoot." The
