Studio Wildcard has announced a delay to Ark: Survival Ascended on Xbox Series X/S and the Windows Store just one day before release. The developer revealed that the survival title is “still going through” the certification process and will thus miss its launch date. Though expected to arrive later this week, a “more precise time” will be provided when available.
The delays are perhaps unsurprising to fans, with Ark: Survival Ascended previously set for August before getting delayed to October. The PC version hit Steam Early Access last month, but the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions faced delays. How this latest delay will affect the PS5 version, which is supposed to launch at the end of November, is unknown.
Regardless, both console versions should support cross-platform play and have new servers with boosted rates for PvP, PvE and Small Tribes. Rates will synchronize by mid-December, and next month also marks the period when Scorched Earth will be added to Survival Ascended, though plans could always change. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
Xbox and Windows Survivors, the game is still going through the certification process and will not be releasing on Tuesday.
We are expecting it to release it later this week, but, we'll update with a more precise time when we have it.
