The second level that you will face in Arise: A Simple Story is Joy. In this level, you will manipulate time to change the time of day affecting plants and insects. This floral level contains eight memories that you can obtain. These collectibles can be a bit difficult to find, but we are here to help.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at each memory location, as well as how to get to them. If you have not yet made it to this part of the story, you may see some location-based spoilers, so be sure to proceed with caution.
This is the easiest memory to find in Joy. Right after you start the level, head directly to the right. Here, you will find the memory on top of a large rock.
The second memory can be found shortly after you finish the first of two water slides. When you exit the slide, head left, grapple onto a bee, and then continue to a grassy platform on the other side.
From this platform, continue heading left over a small bump in the ground, and you will see the second memory tucked under a small mushroom growing out from the side of a rock.
After the second water slide, head forwards to an area with two snails. On the left side of this area, you will see a small ledge with a vine above it. Manipulate time so the smaller snail is right under this ledge, and then climb up onto the ledge from its shell.
Once on this ledge, grapple to the vine and then swing to the ledge on the left next to a white flower. Follow the path here and then jump on the rock leading to a series of mushrooms, with the final mushroom holding memory three.
