Lince Works will cease development on new projects next month.

Lince Works, the studio behind the Aragami series, will end the development of new projects indefinitely, starting in April. The studio was in operation for nine years.
«The last couple of years have been particularly difficult as we shifted towards the development of new IPs and a new course for the company,» Lince Works said in a statement. We were ambitious about what we wanted to achieve as a studio, but sadly, although we made good progress, the economic context was not favorable and we ran out of time."

However, both Aragami and Aragami 2 will still be available to purchase on all platforms and storefronts. Online co-op will also still be accessible for players. Aragami was first released in October 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It later came to Nintendo Switch in 2019 and Amazon Luna in 2020.
Aragami 2 was released in 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. In GameSpot's Aragami 2 review, we said, «Aragami 2 is a bold and aggressive take on the stealth genre, when it finds the confidence to step out of the shadows. Occasionally, however, it's a little too timid and reverts to playing it safe, cowering in the corner rather than seizing the initiative.»
