Lince Works, the developer behind the Aragami series, has announced that it will be shutting down.
In a statement shared on Twitter, the studio explained that it has indefinitely halted the development of new projects.
"The last couple of years have been particularly difficult as we shifted towards the development of new IPs and a new course for the company," it said.
"We were ambitious about what we wanted to achieve as a studio, but sadly, although we made good progress, the economic context was not favorable, and we ran out of time."
Based in Barcelona, Spain, the studio was established in 2014. Its first title Aragami was released in 2016, and its sequel was launched five years later.
Lince Works also said that both Aragami titles will remain on storefronts and platforms. In addition, the online co-op will continue to be accessible to users.
