Apple Arcade is adding four new games this month including a James Bond title called Cypher 007.
According to Apple, the top-down action-adventure title from publisher Tilting Point will be “the only James Bond game available for mobile” when it’s released on September 29.
It will see players step into the shoes of James Bond and revisit some of his most iconic moments as criminal mastermind Blofeld attempts to use brainwashing techniques to turn 007 into a double agent.
Apple said players will “gather intel, uncover secrets, and use spycraft to overcome immersive levels filled with obstacles, opponents, and objectives that increase in difficulty as they progress”.
Players can also “compete against other 007 agents around the world via leaderboards to prove they’re the best spy of all time”.

Also coming to Apple Arcade this month are virtual pet game My Talking Angela 2+ on September 8, cosy life simulation game Japanese Rural Life Adventure on September 15, and tower defence game Junkworld on September 22.
A new mobile version of Samba de Amigo was the headline addition to Apple Arcade in August. Samba de Amigo: Party-To-Go was released on August 29, the same days as Samba de Amigo: Party Central for Switch.
Last month’s Apple Arcade additions also included puzzle game Kingdoms: Merge & Build, minimalist 2D puzzler Finity and a ‘+’ version of Nekograms, which means a version of the popular mobile game without microtransactions or ads.
Hitman studio IO Interactive is currently developing an officially licensed James Bond game. With the working title Project 007, it will feature an original James Bond origin story.
