Apex Legends’ thirteenth season is called Saviors, and it’s dropping on Tuesday, May 10. New hero Newcastle is the highlight (even if some players fear his abilities may make Lifeline irrelevant), but he’s far from the only addition.
As the game’s patch notes point out, maps and Ranked Mode are also getting special attention this season. Storm Point is changing in a few different ways, with the new Downed Beast point of interest and scattered IMC Armories. Enter them, and you’ll have to face IMC Marines before you can get the loot inside. Ranked Mode changes are all about placement, with no kill cap on points and the possibility of slipping into lower and lower ranks — farther than you could previously — if you perform poorly.
While many players will just want to try all of Newcastle’s abilities, there are also many changes to pre-existing heroes. The usual weapon balance changes and bug fixes are part of the seasonal update too. Check out the full patch notes below.
