Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 is titled ‘Shadow Operatives,’ and it drops on August 28th at 5 PM PT. What’s special this season? Not heroes, but anti-heroes are dropping. These folks are working in the shadows, making you question who’s good and who’s bad.
First up, there’s the new Combine Multiplayer map, straight out of the Sahara Desert. If you played Black Ops III, you might get hit with some nostalgia here. It’s a small research outpost where you can duke it out in tight spaces.
However, if you’re feeling brave, go right into the middle of the courtyard. But do keep an eye out for the snipers perched up on balconies or waiting to ambush you under the bridge.
There’s a new gear, the LAG 53 Assault Rifle. It’s a high-mobility weapon that’s perfect for running and gunning. Pair it with the new Assassin Perk, which basically puts a target on anyone racking up a kill streak. Or you can get your hands on the JAK-12 Dragon’s Breath attachment.
The store is bringing out the big guns. Mythic JAK-12 — Rising Ashes is here, and it’s all phoenix-themed with flaming feathers. And if you own the Mythic Krig 6 — Ice Drake, you’ll unlock the new Awaken Weapon Camo. These two combine the power of ice and fire in a visually stunning way.
