Amouranth, one of Twitch's most popular streamers, has revealed why she is hesitant to move to the emerging rival streaming platform, Kick. The platform has recently attracted big names in the industry due to its 95/5 sub-split and is aiming to compete with Twitch in the near future.
Promoted by co-founder Trainwreck, Kick has attracted a lot of attention in the streaming community, boasting a promise to not have strict guidelines, especially in the area of gambling. However, with so much lenience, Amouranth, who has been banned on Twitch multiple times, is uncertain if Kick would be a safe and viable option for her.
Amouranth's Stalker Has Been Arrested
Amouranth is wary of moving to Kick due to the recent controversy surrounding the unrestrained streaming platform. She is concerned that it could potentially jeopardize her Twitch streaming privileges. In a recent interview, she stated, «If you're going to expand out onto other platforms, never s*** on the one you still intend to be on since it will get you banned.»
Amouranth is not alone in her concerns about Kick. Several other popular streamers have already joined the platform, including Adin Ross and HeelMike, but have also faced controversies. HeelMike was briefly suspended after performing a sexual activity during a live stream, and there have been other incidents that have led to concerns about the platform's lack of moderation.
