CBS has given all three FBI shows two-season renewals. FBI premiered on CBS in September 2018, centering around the inner dealings of New York's FBI criminal division. The crime drama boasts an ensemble cast with prominent roles from Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel, Sela Ward, Alana de la Garza, John Boyd, and Katherine Renee Turner. FBI's first spinoff released in 2018 when CBS ordered the inaugural season of FBI: Most Wanted. 2021 saw the second spinoff arrive when FBI: International made its official CBS debut. The FBI shows make up one of CBS' flagship franchises, monopolizing a three-hour block on Tuesday nights for the network.
As reported by Deadline, CBS has ordered two-season renewals for all three FBI franchise shows. The orders will renew FBI for season 5 and season 6, while FBI: Most Wanted solidifies its season 4 and season 5. Finally, FBI: International will offer audiences a chance to catch season 2 and season 3 of the popular franchise show. Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television produce the FBI franchise in association with CBS Studios. Wolf shared his excitement about the two-season renewals, noting that everybody associated with the FBI projects is thrilled to continue the sagas of the exciting drama series. See what Wolf had to say below:
«Everybody who works on these three shows is over the moon about the multi-year pickups. We are all incredibly grateful to CBS and our partners at Universal Television and CBS Studios. And I personally would like to thank the incredible casts, talented writers, and dedicated producers, not to mention three crews who never missed an airdate despite the difficulties of producing full seasons during the COVID-19 pandemic.»
