In addition to a slew of new movies, the MCU's future after Thor: Love and Thunder boasts a long list of new Disney+ shows. Marvel has put together a packed slate of movies and shows for MCU Phase 4 and beyond. Thor's latest adventure, which pits him against Gorr the God Butcher, is the seventh MCU movie that Marvel has made since Phase 3 ended. And as their current schedule proves, Marvel Studios is far from done producing new MCU installments for Phase 4.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Phase 4 got off to an unfortunately slow start. In fact, 2020 was absent of any new MCU content. The next two years, however, have been a completely different story. 2021 alone saw the release of five MCU shows, which was obviously a promising beginning to Marvel's Disney+ plans.

Over the next few years, audiences will be treated to well over a dozen MCU shows. Similar to what's already been offered, some will shine the spotlight on existing MCU heroes, whereas others will adapt the stories of Marvel Comics characters who haven't been used yet. Marvel will take a different direction from its usual Disney+ material withI am Groot, an animated series of shorts aimed at children. Consisting of five episodes, I am Groot will go back a few years before Avengers: Infinity War to a time where the character was still Baby Groot. Once again, Vin Diesel will provide the voice of the fan-favorite Guardians of the Galaxy character.
