The incandescent trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming film Alice is officially here. Having premiered at Sundance 2022, Alice follows the tale of an enslaved woman who escapes her rural Georgia plantation only to discover that the year is actually 1973 and that her whole life has been a lie. The upcoming revenge thriller sees Keke Palmer taking on the lead role of Alice in the dramatically powerful film that was inspired by true events.
The first official trailer for Alice throws audiences headfirst into the dramatic transition that the main character faces when her reality switches from a pre-Civil War South to a post-Civil Rights America. The action-packed trailer dives into Alice’s journey to empowerment before showcasing her fiery revenge on the malicious man behind the plantation.
