The Summoner is a returning Solar Auto Rifle that has been released back into the loot pool in Destiny 2, and with its rereleasing comes updated perk options as well. Like other Season of the Risen and Witch Queen weapons, The Summoner also has the new Origin Trait perk column intrinsically built into the weapon. These perks are called Alacrity and One Quiet Movement, and they're included on all weapons that can be earned from Trials of Osiris engrams in Destiny 2.
Alacrity and One Quiet Movement are both perks that increase the reload speed of The Summoner, but the prerequisite to activate them is very different. One Quiet Movement is activated anytime when players are out of combat, which is better suited for PvP engagements during those brief moments of peace after defeating an enemy. Alacrity immediately activates when players are either the last living member of their fireteam or running solo, making it a fantastic weapon to use in Legendary or Master Lost Sectors or any solo dungeon run in Destiny 2. Additionally, Alacrity also improves The Summoner's stability, aim assist, and range, making it the superior option of the two perks.
