Destiny 2's The Witch Queen is almost a month into its release, and while many players have already finished the campaign, there are still plenty of secrets to discover in Savathun's Throne World. There are also many facets to the new systems implemented with the expansion, such as weapon crafting, which is now changing the way the endgame is played and what the target for players to farm actually is. This includes unlocking several weapon patterns, grinding rare materials like Ascendant Alloys, and getting Deepsight Resonance weapons for Neutral Elements and other materials.
Because Destiny 2 is a looter shooter where pieces of gear can be very important when it comes to making or breaking a build or even dealing as much damage as possible to Raid bosses, it's not a surprise that Exotics are often the focus of a new release. This is because Exotics bring new and exciting perks that can completely change the gameplay flow in Destiny 2, and The Witch Queen expansion did include several new ones — either from in-game activities or as rewards for completing objectives.

Among said rewards, players are faced with a choice of one of two new class-specific Exotic items when completing The Witch Queen's campaign on Legendary mode, but the choice is not as straightforward as one would think. In fact, farming Lost Sectors can grant unobtained Exotics more easily and with high stat rolls.
