This held true for the new Xbox Game Pass games for March 2022, as Microsoft kicked off the month by revealing the games that would be available in the first two weeks, and then followed up on that announcement with another reveal in the middle of the month. The games that Microsoft formally announced for Xbox Game Pass were already enough to establish March as a particularly strong month for the subscription service, but Microsoft surprised users with some unexpected day one releases.
