Acquire has announced Ancient Weapon Holly, a roguelike action and the second game in its self-published games portfolio. It will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam in 2024.

Both Ancient Weapon Holly and the previously announced XALADIA: Rise of the Space Pirates X2 will be playable by the public at PAX West 2023 in Seattle, Washington from September 1 to 4 and Tokyo Game Show 2023 in Chiba, Japan from September 21 to 24.

“We believe a powerful, autonomous weapon in the form of a human-hating young girl offers a completely fresh approach to dungeon crawlers that action gamers will enjoy,” said Acquire president Takuma Endo in a press release. “The team can’t wait to offer hands-on with Holly at PAX West and Tokyo Game Show next month!”
