Warframe 'Abyss of Dagath' Will Introduce a Faceless 54th Warframe, With Many Helpful Reworks

Digital Extremes revealed “Abyss of Dagath”, the next Warframe update that will bring the 54th Warframe, the headless horsewoman Dagath, along with companion immortality and a revamped healing system. 

The stream was packed with announcements, including an appearance by the Soulframe team to thank the community for the positive response following reveals at TennoCon. The game's “Rivers Of Dendria” music track that plays during the Torment Stag boss fight, is also now available for streaming on YouTube.

On the Warframe side, the “Abyss of Dagath” update arrives on October 18th. Dagath wields her sword/whip combination weapon, Dorrclave, and in combat, conjured spectral sickles. She can also shoot cursed energy from her warped, faceless head, and guard against spectral-realm based damage herself. Finally, she can summon the Rakhali’s Cavalry, which sends out five phantasmal horses to slam into enemies caught in their path, inflicting massive damage.

In addition to Dagath we can also expect Grendel Prime. The Prime form of Grendel will also come with extra equipment slots and a new Prime tech weapon. The Hydroid Warframe’s rework will also be included, as the team revealed back at TennoCon. His base kit gets a number of changes, including a new passive, status effect triggers, and removal of non-synergistic gameplay tuning. Say goodbye to Undertow and hello to Plunder, A new ability that will steal  the armor from all enemies in view and convert it into corrosive damage for his weapon.
