AMD has confirmed that FSR 3 "FideilityFX Super Resolution" will be launching in the first two PC titles, Forspoken & Immortals of Aveum, tomorrow.
It's been almost 10 months since AMD unveiled FSR 3 when it first introduced its RDNA 3 GPUs. Back then, AMD promised gamers to expect up to 2x the performance increase over FSR 2, and later, we got to know that the company was going to use frame interpolation, similar to NVIDIA's DLSS 3 technology, as a means to achieve this huge performance jump.
To sum up the improvements of FSR 3:

But time passed and we didn't hear anything about FSR 3 from AMD until now. During its Gaming Festival 2023 event at Gamescom, the company revealed that the technology will be landing within Forspoken & Immortals of Aveum as the first titles to support FSR 3 and now, we are only one day away from FSR 3's debut within its first two titles as confirmed by Frank Azor of AMD.
But those are just the launch titles for FSR 3, AMD also confirms 10 additional titles that will support the tech in the future:
AMD has previously shown Forspoken get a boost from around 30 FPS at native 4K (Ultra-High RT) to over 120+ FPS using the same settings and FSR 3 set to "Performance" mode.
AMD has also confirmed that FSR 3 will be available as a plugin for Unreal Engine 5, further increasing its adoption rate among the gaming community. The best part about FSR 3 is that it will be compatible with all GPUs including AMD's own & also
