Former 90 Day Fiancé franchise star Varya Malina suffered terrible side effects after participating in the medical research study. Fans may remember the Russian native from her appearance in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. She appeared in that season with 44-year-old criminal Geoffrey Paschel, who has now been sentenced to 18 years in prison without parole. The couple appeared very much in love during the season and even got engaged towards the end. Although they didn't get married, Varya was still able to immigrate to the United States through Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program.
Varya initially chose to live in Pensacola, Florida, but she had to move to Knoxville, Tennessee, after Geoffrey was incarcerated. Varya has been taking care of her beau's house, his dogs and rental properties, and it hasn't been easy. A few months ago, she talked about how difficult and stressful her first year of immigration has been in America. Probably to divert her mind, she decided to take part in a medical study. However, Varya had a health scare during the screening process. Her heartbeat was noted to be 40 when it should be at least 50. But thankfully, her heart rate eventually went up, and she was able to participate in the medical trial.

Sadly, Varya is now suffering horrible side effects after being a part of the study. She isn't sleeping well and wakes up around 6 a.m. Varya revealed that she is now struggling with anxiety and often has a dry mouth. The worst side effect is that she constantly feels dizzy.
