The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the biggest (boxed) Zelda launch in the UK ever, and initial sales have also greatly surpassed those of Hogwarts Legacy.
The sequel to 2017's Breath of the Wild was released last Friday, and initial boxed sales in the UK have dwarfed those of its predecessor. As far as lifetime revenue goes, the sequel is only being bested by Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess. Impressive numbers for sure, especially considering that the title has only been out for a few days. On Twitter, Dring writes that Tears of the Kingdom is the biggest Switch release in the UK to date when looking at revenue, thereby beating Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Another interesting tidbit is that Breath of the Wild sales in the UK have also been up week-on-week and has now claimed the 8th
