Now, Konami recently announced another major milestone the card game has eclipsed in the short time since its release.

Master Duel was announced in July 2021. The official announcement through the European Twitter account for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG confirmed Thursday that Master Duel had already reached 4 million downloads just nine days after its launch. The reveal coincides with Konami beginning to roll out Master Duel's mobile version on iOS and Android, with select regions receiving the game first before it slowly releases in other regions. The accessibility of a mobile version of Master Duel will likely benefit the numbers as players are able to take their Yu-Gi-Oh! deck-building and dueling on the go.
