Apple has started selling refurbished Mac Studios on its official website in the U.S., Canada and a handful of European countries. Launched at Apple's 'Peek Performance' event earlier this year, the Mac Studio comes with the form-factor of a Mac mini but packs the power and performance of a Mac Pro. The Mac Studio ships is two configurations. While the entry-level model is powered by the M1 Max processor and starts at $1,999, the top-end model comes with Apple's powerful M1 Ultra processor and starts at a whopping $3,999.
The Mac Studio also has a removable SSD drive and an additional SSD slot. That created quite a bit of confusion a few months ago, leading some to believe that the device's SSD storage could be user upgradable. However, subsequent reports have suggested that the device's SSD storage is not upgradable, as the secondary SSD slot is pretty much non-functional. Be that as it may, the Mac Studio remains a great device and one that could be a great buy at the right price.

Apple's online web-store currently lists the refurbished entry-level Mac Studio with the M1 Max processor, 512GB of storage and 32GB of unified memory at $1,799. That's $200 off the device's usual retail price of $1,999. No other refurbished Mac Studio model is currently up for sale on the website, but according to MacRumors, the M1 Ultra model was also listed for $3,599 — a $400 discount over its $3,999 retail price. It's not immediately clear whether Apple will restock the high-end model any time soon, but the company generally restocks its refurbished store with new products every week, so it might turn up at some stage in the future.
