Netflix's Kingdom Unveils New Gameplay For Show-Based Zombie RPG
The first official gameplay trailer for Kingdom: The Blood has dropped, showcasing smooth combat and graphic zombie encounters. The game, based on the popular Netflix Korean horror series Kingdom, was first announced last year and will follow the main story seen in the TV episodes. Kingdom: The Blood's development puts a unique spin on zombie horror, taking place in a fictional, historical setting inspired by Korea.
The story of Kingdom is a dark thriller, following Crown Prince of Joseon, Lee Chang, as he attempts to discover a mysterious plague that has overrun his kingdom. Set in a fictional 16th-century world inspired by Korean history, the story combines both action thriller and horror elements for a fast-paced and gut-wrenching story. Kingdom currently has two full seasons, as well as an additional special, and those who enjoyed the fresh spin on a zombie story will likely be excited to see a continuation in the upcoming Kingdom: The Blood game.
