If you’ve been playing Texas Chain Saw Massacre and noticed a strange glitch, you’re not alone. Many players have witnessed their XP and Skill points earned from matches not actually appearing on their account. Now that players are talking about the issue more, the developer Sumo Digital has spoken up. It seems as though the XP and Skill point glitch in Texas Chain Saw Massacre has a fix in the works.
This glitch seems to be happening more often for Victims than Family members. After completing a match, the game will tell you how much XP and Skill points you earned, but it won’t actually transfer after you leave the match. Luckily, Sumo Digital stated that a fix is in the works for the XP and Skill point glitch in Texas Chain Saw Massacre. In a Twitter thread replying to a frustrated player, the game’s official Twitter account said this:
A current workaround until a full fix is implemented is uninstalling and reinstalling. We're currently working on a final fix and hope to have it implemented asap. We appreciate your patience.

It seems like you may be able to fix this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling your game. Seeing as Texas Chain Saw Massacre is only around 30 GB, it may be worthwhile to follow this advice. If you’re patient enough, you can decide to simply wait for the patch to implement. For now, we have no idea on a date for the next update, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre only released on August 18, so it’s not surprising to see glitches like this. It doesn’t make it any less frustrating, though. It’s already had issues like the error code 0x0B4D000D, and network errors, but this glitch
