Today is a special day for Xbox. Twenty years ago, Microsoft embarked on a journey that was fraught with peril, barreling into a space that was dominated by the likes of Sony, Nintendo, and Sega, all with far more experience in the games market. And yet, somehow, Microsoft not only survived but thrived.
Today marks 20 years of Xbox, and to celebrate, Microsoft’s games division is doing a number of things. First, it dropped Halo Infinite’s multiplayer almost a full month earlier than expected.
