Getting inside the Abandoned Ruins will cost you some work. There are many steps you need to take to prepare yourself for the Portia ruins. Below is a guide on how to get into the ruins and what secrets you can uncover upon entering.
Entering through the main entrance at Peach Plaza, you will want to head left. There's a large ramp going above the town. This is where you'll find Abandoned Ruins #1. Further up the road is Abandoned Ruins #2, which cannot be unlocked until you complete the Bridge to Amber Island questline.
Aside from the two ruins in town, there are two more that can be found around the world. Each ruin will offer different materials that the other ruin does not provide.

You have to pay to gain access to the ruins. The only way in is by paying for a week's worth of access, which is 80 Gols. Being a beginner player, this can seem like heaps of money to you. The ruins are protected and governed by the Civil Corps, so payment is necessary. After your first week in Portia, weekly access to Abandoned Ruins #1 costs 200 Gols. On the other hand, weekly access to Abandoned Ruins #2 costs 300 Gols.
