One Xbox Game Pass user has discovered that these Xbox Cloud Gaming titles can work on the Flip 4 cover screen, rather than its primary screen.
Xbox Cloud Gaming brings many titles from the Xbox Game Pass lineup to mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, with the Flip 4 among a long list of compatible machines. Unlike how many smart devices use lock screens on the standard display to prevent unauthorized access, the Flip 4 cover screen is a separate display that unlocks it and can also be used like the standard screen in a limited scope. Reddit user The_jeef recently shared a brief video illustrating Xbox Cloud Gaming working using touch controls on the Flip 4 cover screen which is significantly smaller than its other screen and displays on a majority of available devices.

The_jeef's clip begins with the Xbox Game Pass subscriber tapping on the Flip 4 cover screen to unlock it, navigating the small menu of apps, and clicking on a Game Pass title before playing it immediately in a hint that Xbox Cloud Gaming is the future of gaming. The small screen is quickly taken over by the animation of a rocket ship which signifies the remote file being loaded and is expected after activating Xbox Cloud Gaming rather than a game launching from an installed state. The E for everyone ESRB rating flashes across the small Flip 4 display during this video as Townscaper's title screen is barely legible, causing The_jeef to bring the Flip 4 closer to their recording device.
