Inon Zur may not be an industry name on the tip of everyone's tongue, but it is a name worth knowing. Inon Zur is a leading composer within the gaming industry, and he has worked on several major games, as well as many smaller ones, dating all the way back to 2000. With over two decades of experience, there's a high chance someone has played a game with music made by Zur. He has worked onDragon Age: Origins (winning a Hollywood Music in Media Award in 2009 for Best Original Song for it), Men of Valor, Naruto: Rise of Ninja, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Dragon's Dogma, Outriders, and many, many more.
One upcoming project that he has worked on isStarfield, which obviously isn't out yet, but Zur recently appeared on the Nikhil Hogan show for an interview about his life and video game composition. During this interview, he was asked what he could say about Starfield, and Zur didn't hold back too much.
Starfield Modders Are Already Preparing to Fix the Game's Bugs
According to Zur,Starfield is twice as big as the biggest Bethesda game to date, and this is pretty noteworthy given how Bethesda titles tend to be big. On the other hand, Zur believes it's not how bigStarfield is that matters, but what it does. He describes it as a highly philosophical game that isn't afraid to ask questions about what's out there, jokingly adding that players may or may not get those answers. That's not to say they do or don't, as it's not clear how much Zur was hinting at here, if anything. He describes the game as something that will consume players, is courageous, and isn't just another shooter or RPG. (The relevant portion can be seen at the 56:54 mark below).
