Although the Nintendo Switch version is not available yet, players can still take Genshin Impact on the go with a capable smartphone and stable cell reception.
A Reddit user was able to play Genshin Impact with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4's cover screen, which is roughly two inches wide. The user placed a U.S. nickel coin above the screen to provide a sense of scale while attempting to play Genshin Impact on the small screen. Genshin Impact scales down the user interface to fit the small cover screen, but the screen brightness appears to wash out many of the game's colors during gameplay.

According to u/sogoyu, Genshin Impact heats up the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 after prolonged play in the unfolded configuration. While playing through the cover screen, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 appears to use less battery life and the device does not rise in temperature as quickly.
