Microsoft will add Assassin's Creed Origins to its ever-expanding Xbox Game Pass service next month, according to an update on the streaming platform's official webpage. This addition to Game Pass couldn't come at a better time, given that all signs point to AC Origins receiving a 60fps patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in the coming days. A listing on PlayStation's database recently revealed as much, with the reliable PlayStation Game Size Twitter account claiming the framerate boost could go live between May 24 and May 26.
Xbox Game Pass is currently in the process of closing out a solid month of offers for PC and console subscribers. The May 2022 Game Pass additions included the likes of Flying Wild Hog's awe-inspiring Trek to Yomi, the incredibly gorgeous Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, and the recently released Evil Dead: The Game. Notably, Game Pass has yet another heavy-hitter up its sleeve for the month, namely in the form of Sniper Elite 5, which launches day-and-date on the service on Thursday, May 26.

Subscribers impressed by Xbox Game Pass' May 2022 offerings will want to stick around throughout the month of June, as well. As spotted by VGC, an updated listing for the 'Coming Soon' tab on Game Pass' webpage notes that Assassin's Creed Origins counts among the titles that will hit the subscription service in June. VGC additionally notes the Ancient Egypt-set adventure should become available on the platform on June 7 for console, cloud, and PC via Ubisoft Connect. Furthermore, another Ubisoft experience, For Honor: Marching Fire Edition, will migrate to Game Pass a little earlier in the month on June 1.
