Ubisoft has not announced any plans to make an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan, but a newly released video gives fans an idea of what such a game might be like.
YouTuber TeaserPlay uploaded a video that shows what an Assassin's Creed game set in 1333 Japan would be like, built using Unreal Engine 5. The idea of the video is simple, and that is show what an Assassin's Creed game could look like when using next-generation graphics and tools like Unreal Engine 5's nanite and lumen features. The video shows an assassin exploring city streets, perching on rooftops, and caps off with a shot of a vast, mountainous landscape.

While only a concept video, it does make an effort to mimic the HUD of an Assassin's Creed game. The bottom right-hand corner has icons for the unnamed Assassin's Creed assassin to perform various functions, while their health bar is located on the opposite side of the screen. It's an impressive video, and it may make fans even hungrier for a main series Assassin's Creed game set in Japan.
