Warning: spoilers forMarauders #2 ahead!
In a preview for the latest issue of Marauders #2 from Marvel Comics, the X-Men's pirate team are going up against a villain who will prove once and for all whether mutants would be capable of taking down DC's Green Lantern. Using a seemingly new technology called «Hard Skin,» the Shi'ar warrior Eric the Red is now able to project hard-light weapons and fighters using his thoughts, incredibly similar to the powers of the Green Lantern Corps from DC Comics.

Their first major mission involves an adventure into Shi'ar space to investigate a mystery revealed to them by the villainous Cassandra Nova, but their efforts will be cut short if classic villain Eric the Red has any say about it.
