A while back it was confirmed that the X-Men is getting an animated series that will continue from where the '90s television series ended. The show, titled X-Men '97, will be bringing back a number of the active original voice talent while also making an effort to capture the vibe that everyone is familiar with. The theme song of the show is easily one of the most iconic intros or openings to a television show ever, so many hope for its return.

Head writer Beau DeMayo was conducting an interview with The Direct,and while nothing was confirmed or denied, many are taking a liking to this specific comment after DeMayo was asked if X-Men '97 will be in the MCU. «The one thing I can say towards that is, I know sometimes we say, No comment,' and it’s like, ‘They’re just being obstinate.’ I’m gonna go with no comment here because part of the surprise will be finding that out when you experience the show,» he said. When it comes to the marketing for X-Men '97 potentially teasing that possible MCU connection as a mystery, DeMayo said, «I can’t speak to marketing, but I think there is a degree of—you will be asking that question.”
