This is a great game. I've spent hours just in the first zone alone. All afternoon and late into the evening.

The only real problem here is frame rate drops. I'm talking just walking past a save point will drop the fps to almost 0 and stall like it's going to crash. Load times are pretty bad and often hang up.
Also just walking into some rooms with lots of boxes and torches drops the fps pretty low and makes moving around and doing things hard. Also for instance the first boss fight had a background animation and the boss lunges about the same time. The fps drops pretty low.
All in all I've been waiting on this game and was pretty excited. These are the only things I really find wrong with it.Gameplay wise it is solid. The platforming is great.
The backgrounds, character movesets, animations, it all blends together very nicely and the art style is like a really improved ps1 game. I'm loving the game and even with the issues I haven't found anything game breaking. Again the fps drops tend to take away from the overall experience and it's fluidness, transitions and what not.
This can wear on some people and I don't blame them. I just happen to like it and enjoy it enough that I can look past it a bit.Definitely worth a play. I've sat down and played this consecutively and with more enjoyment than most triple A games on the market or even games available.
The system works well and the combat is good. I don't feel like it's a big chore or things are too tedious as say breath of the wild or assassin's Creed. This was just the game I was looking for.
