Jerry Gergich is one of Parks & Recreation's most memorable characters due to his neverending patience and for always having a smile on his face, but he also showed a different side of him whenever Kyle was around, and this rivalry made Jerry better. Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, Parks & Recreation is among the best TV shows of the decade, and it left viewers with various unforgettable scenes, characters, and running gags, but there are also many underappreciated ones.
Set in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana, Parks & Recreation follows the crew at the Parks Department, led by the always optimistic and enthusiastic Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler). Through her, viewers got to know some of the Parks Department’s most colorful employees, which happened to be some of Leslie’s best friends, such as Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari), and April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza), and there were others that, while not exactly close friends of Leslie, also left their mark on the series, as is the case of Jerry Gergich (Jim O’Heir).

Jerry Gergich – whose real name is actually Garry Gergich – started out as the office manager of the Parks Department, and he stood out for his clumsiness, being accident-prone, and always finding himself involved in a variety of embarrassing situations. Jerry was also kind-hearted, and even though his coworkers bullied him nonstop, he never stopped caring for them and always helped them when they needed it.
