The developers at Visual Concepts have listened to this feedback, issuing the big 1.09 update today to add new content and make improvements.
The WWE 2K22 1.09 update adds the NXT 2.0 arena, which will go a long way in making the game feel less outdated. Prior to this update, WWE 2K22 players were stuck with the older NXT arena, which hasn't been seen on television for months. The addition of the NXT 2.0 arena is certainly one of the biggest changes with this latest WWE 2K22 update, though there will likely be quite a bit of fanfare for the MyGM changes as well.

After over a decade of fans waiting for General Manager mode to return, WWE 2K22 finally brought the fan favorite mode back as MyGM. Many were happy to see MyGM in WWE 2K22, though there have been some complaints about its shallowness and general lack of features compared to previous entries. Fans will be happy to learn that WWE 2K22 MyGM mode has also been given an upgrade in this latest update, with new options now available to players.
More specifically, the WWE 2K22 MyGM mode now has tag titles and larger match cards when playing on the Normal and Hard difficulties.
