WWE 2K22 was officially announced in April 2021 in a teaser trailer that aired during WrestleMania 37, giving the fans something to look forward to. The game is the successor to WWE 2K20 due to the cancellation of the expected WWE 2K21 by 2K Sports. As the release date is getting closer, 2K Sports is building up excitement by releasing high-valued content like trailers and player ratings. Previously, Sheamus and Asukaappeared in a gameplay trailer along with several others.
2K Sports released the soundtrack trailer for the upcoming WWE 2K22, featuring two high-profile stars. One of them is WWE’s all-time great, The Undertaker, and the other is a hip-hop artist, Machine Gun Kelly. MGK is the executive producer of the WWE 2K22 soundtrack who appears in the trailer in a recording studio.

WWE 2K’s YouTube channel released the soundtrack trailer, which shows Machine Gun Kelly headbanging to some hard-core tunes. Moreover, after Kelly’s part, The Undertaker makes an intimidating appearance in his signature outfit. Machine Gun Kelly shares a short but witty conversation with the WWE legend in the trailer. Speaking of The Undertaker, he had a scuffle with TimTheTatman, the famous YouTube streamer, in a previously released trailer.
In the trailer, MGK asks The Undertaker, “Pretty hard, right?” to which, The Undertaker replies, “It needs more gongs.” Kelly finally replies, “Gongs? What are Gongs?” The Undertaker hints at his entrance music which featured a section of bell tolls and gongs in the beginning.
