Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton star in the first trailer for the Prime Video thriller All The Old Knives. Based on the best-selling spy fiction novel by Olen Steinhauer (who also wrote the script), the film is directed by Janus Metz, who directed the acclaimed war documentary Armadillo. The film co-stars veteran actors Laurence Fishburne and Jonathan Pryce.
Pine is best known for his role as Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek films, as well as playing Steve Trevor in DC's Wonder Woman films. The actor has cut his teeth on multiple projects since emerging with 2006's Smokin' Aces, including Outlaw King, Z for Zachariah, and Hell or High Water. Newton is best known for her role in HBO's Westworld, as well as appearances in films like Mission: Impossible II, Crash, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Pine recently wrapped a starring role in the new adaptation of Dungeons and Dragons from directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, and will next be seen in the action-thriller The Contractor with Ben Foster and Kiefer Sutherland. He's currently filming Newsflash, a biopic about news reporter Walter Cronkite reporting on the JFK assassination in 1963. Newton just appeared in the Sundance debut God's Country and will return for Westworld season 4, as well as doing voice work for the Chicken Run sequel, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget. She is also joining Magic Mike 3 in a lead role.
