Machine Gun Kelly will be a playable wrestler in WWE 2K22, where he has also acted as an executive sound producer.
WWE revealed the news through a tongue-in-cheek trailer featuring Machine Gun Kelly and The Undertaker. MGK is showing off a sample of the game's soundtrack, which Undertaker claims needs more "gongs". Machine Gun Kelly then questions what a gong is before some of 2K22's soundtrack is shown off.

The description for the trailer is where it's revealed that Kelly will be a playable wrestler in 2K22. It reads, "WWE 2K22 and renowned artist Machine Gun Kelly are partnering to produce a one-of-a-kind soundtrack, with MGK to be featured as a playable character". No gameplay footage has been shown of Kelly in 2K22, so it's not clear what he looks like just yet, but he's confirmed to be in the game somewhere.
Although MGK becoming playable in WWE 2K22 is a strange highlight, the trailer was intended to reveal the track-list that has been hand-selected by Machine Gun Kelly. The soundtrack is as follows:
Neil Lawi, Senior Vice President and General Manager at WWE Music Group had this to say about Kelly's inclusion, "Machine Gun Kelly has been an integral part of the WWE family for more than a decade including performances at WrestleMania and Tribute to the Troops, soundtracking our premium live events with his music, and making frequent storyline appearances on WWE programming over the years. He has curated a unique soundtrack for WWE 2K22 that includes not only his own music but a diverse array of artists from The Weeknd to KennyHoopla. The 12-track soundtrack is the perfect complement to this edition’s enhanced gameplay.”
