The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is finally free after settling her divorce, but unfortunately she'll have to pay her ex-husband over $1.3 million. Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock in June 2o2o, and the legal battle had been going on for over a year, with Kelly being granted primary custody of their two children, River Rose Blackstock, 7, and Remington Alexander Blackstock, 5. The «Since U Been Gone» singer also was awarded the couple's $10.4 million ranch in Montana and was granted permission to drop «Blackstock» from her name. The coach has been honest about her divorce, calling it "horrible" on her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, when speaking about its effect on her children.
In October, Kelly released her second Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around..., which chronicled her split from Brandon and how it made the holidays more difficult. The singer penned the song «Christmas Isn't Canceled (Just You)» about her divorce and admitted during her NBC Christmas special that the season isn't always as jolly as it's supposed to be, especially for her at the time. It was also reported that the star was planning an extra special holiday season for her kids to make it easier for them since they would no longer be celebrating with their parents together.

After a lengthy and exhausting divorce, Kelly and Brandon have finally settled, leaving the singer with quite the price to pay. According to documents acquired by The Blast, Kelly must pay her ex-husband a one-time tax-free payment of $1,326,161.
