WWE 2K22 has reignited the rocky WWE 2K franchise and has opened the door for another emergence of the popular wrestling game. With a new game engine, returning game modes, and improvements to existing game modes, the latest installment in the series proves to be the game that fans wanted. The one area where WWE 2K22 promises to deliver more is the roster, which currently sits at around 170 superstars, much lower than WWE 2K20 or WWE 2K19.
As with previous games, numerous DLCs for WWE 2K22 have been announced and will add in 28 new playable superstars. From legends to newcomers, fans of the television show and older games will be glad to see some recognizable faces from the WWE Universe. Out of the 28 superstars, however, three are celebrities that have had a major impact in the WWE over the years. Machine Gun Kelly, who acted as Executive Soundtrack Producer for WWE 2K22 will be added in as a playable superstar, along with internet star turned boxer Logan Paul, and Mr. T, a person whose history with the WWE runs deep.
