The Mi Band 7 is going to be a big upgrade from the last-gen model! Based on a bunch of leaked images of the AOD system, the Mi Band 7, or expected to be called the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, will get a host of long-awaited features that put it on par with competing fitness bands and affordable watches. Xiaomi is yet to announce anything regarding the Smart Band 7 but based on the leak, it seems the launch may not be too far away.
The Mi Band 7 could get a host of big upgrades over the Xiaomi Smart Band 6, popularly known as the Mi Band 6. Based on watch faces obtained from the Zepp app by Logger, it seems that the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, as it is expected to be called, will come with a slightly wider display than the outgoing model. The display will have the same oval shape.
Always On Display, or AOD, is going to be the next big feature in the Mi Band 7. Two AOD faces have been obtained from the app – one for those who prefer an analogue face while the other one for those who prefer digital. The standard watch faces get colourful elements and bold letters, with some of them resembling the MIUI 13 elements.
Additionally, GPS is expected to be onboard the Mi Band 7. The leak says that the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will have support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. The tracker will also feature a couple of power saving modes, one of which will only keep the step and sleep tracking function intact while disabling everything else. A smart alarm feature will also make it to the Xiaomi Smart Band 7.
