The House of the Dead Remake has received an April 7 release date for Nintendo Switch.
Pre-orders start on March 31 and Forever Entertainment has released a new trailer for the game, which you can watch below.
The company announced in 2019 that it had signed an agreement for remakes of The House of the Dead and The House of the Dead 2 but didn’t reveal target platforms or launch windows at the time.
The House of the Dead Remake was then confirmed for Switch during an Indie World showcase in April 2021.
It was initially supposed to release in 2021, but in December it was announced that it had been delayed until spring 2022.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board recently classified The House of the Dead Remake for Google Stadia, suggesting the game will be coming to at least one other platform.
During the most recent Nintendo Direct broadcast in February, Forever Entertainment announced Front Mission 1st: Remake and Front Mission 2: Remake.
Billed as a “full remake” of the tactical RPG in which players pilot weaponised machines called Wanzers, the first game will hit Switch this summer and the second one is due at a later date.
