World Bosses are More Resilient in Diablo 4 Season 5
Blizzard recently released Patch Notes for PTR Patch 1.5.0 following this week’s Diablo 4 Season 5 Campfire Chat, and there’s a much-requested change that you may have missed — World Bosses are going to have their stats readjusted for Season 5!

- World Bosses are now more resilient to damage.
According to the Patch Notes, World Bosses spawning throughout Sanctuary in Season 5 are going to be “more resilient to damage,” but to what extent is anyone’s guess. For several seasons, grouping up with other players to challenge a World Boss has been incredibly underwhelming due to the innate power of certain classes — players literally one-shotting a World Boss is commonplace in Season 4. Hopefully, the upcoming change will help to combat that, and thus allow more players to take part in the World Boss experience.

We’re anticipating either a significant boost to World Boss survivability stats or perhaps some sort of player debuff, similar to the one applied in the Fields of Hatred — something like “player deals 90% less damage to World Bosses” or something to that effect, though this is purely speculation at this point. Keep an eye out for updates as we learn more.
