The highly-anticipated sequel to The Wolf Among Ushas received its first official trailer, which teases new characters inspired by The Wizard of Oz. The sequel to The Wolf Among Us was originally announced at the 2019 Game Awards, but little other information about the game has been provided until now. The final episode of the noir fairytale mystery was released in the summer of 2014, and fans have been clamoring for a sequel ever since.
The Wolf Among Us series is based on Bill Willingham's comic series Fables and centers around werewolf protagonist Bigby Wolf. Bigby is the sheriff of Fabletown, a secret area of New York City populated with grittier versions of classic fairytale characters like the Three Little Pigs and Bluebeard. Throughout the episodic series, players will work to unravel a series of mysterious murders with the help of Bigby's close friend Snow White. Before the sequel's official announcement, the status of The Wolf Among Us 2 was in flux after its developer Telltale Games shuttered in 2018. However, the studio was revived the following year, renewing hope with fans that they would eventually be able to continue Bigby Wolf's story.

The Telltale Games team shared a brand new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 on Twitter this week, highlighting new characters and offering hints as to what Bigby will be up to in the sequel.
