It's been over a decade since the original release of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and the game has gone in history as a classic RPG title. Unfortunately, the title is also still plagued by game-breaking bugs after all these years which can throw any playthrough into chaos. Recently, one Skyrim player shared a video showcasing a glitch that led to their horse flying among fighting dragons.
Like other Bethesda titles, Skyrim has become very well known for its unpredictable glitches. Sometimes, these bugs just add a little spice into the gameplay, but other times they can render the game unplayable or simply kill the player on the spot.
Skyrim Player Discovers Friendly Dragon
Redditor GerardBinge shared a short 44-second-long video with accompanying text declaring that they'd encountered the best glitch ever. The clip begins with the game's loading screen before moving straight into gameplay, only for the glitch to kick in immediately. The Dragonborn's horse rapidly began glitching over the mountainside it spawned on before ascending into the sky. This would be funny on its own, but as the horse rose, the player became aware that there were already two dragons circling each other and breathing fire in this area.
GerardBinge turned to try and keep the dragons in sight and guided the horse toward the creatures. However, the unpredictable glitching caused them to stay too high in Skyrim's sky to participate in the battle. When the Dragonborn drew their swords and attempted a second pass, they were treated to a spectacular view of a flying dragon from above before the second creature dove up and knocked them off the horse.
