A new glitch in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim sees a Windhelm Guard defying the laws of gravity by swimming through the air. A clip of this glitch has been shared to the Skyrim subreddit, where it has provided much amusement for fans of Bethesda's popular RPG title.
Glitches and bugs can vary in severity across any title from something as minor as NPCs running through walls, to more frustrating game-breaking issues such as the one where one Skyrim player was turned into a horse. Despite sounding like an amusing idea for a mod or spinoff game, glitches like these can cause issues. For instance, the player who was turned into a horse was no longer able to perform the abilities of the Dragonborn. Glitches can also make the game world unplayable as certain quests may be inaccessible or impossible to complete, frustrating players. Of course, the glitches that aren't game-breaking have provided much amusement for players over the years, who try to recreate and capture them to share with their friends and fellow players.

The latest of these glitches to be spotted was shared on the Skyrim subreddit by jessamars. The glitch sees one of Skyrim's Windhelm Guards defying the laws of gravity whilst bidding farewell to the Dragonborn, and expressing gratitude for all the Dragonborn has done as they swim away through the air. The clip has proven to be popular as fans have claimed it enhanced the moment, making the fond farewell even more dramatic and beautiful.
