2020's Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is known for sporting some stylish alternate costumes, and a recently-discovered glitch adds to this wardrobe by accidentally turning his suit completely white. While Insomniac’s open-world Spider-Man games are incredibly well-crafted, both of them have seen their fair share of bugs and glitches. 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man seems to have the lion’s share of these bizarre technical hiccups, but Spider-Man: Miles Morales bugs and glitches have seen the titular hero be transformed into various everyday objects like a car, a street lamp, and even a flying brick. One Miles Morales glitch even has the young web-slinger abandon his costume altogether and wander the streets of Harlem in his civilian outfit, but doing this locks him out of the rest of the game's storyline.
This isn’t to say that Miles doesn’t have a neat variety of official alternative looks, as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales followed its predecessor in providing several alternate costumes for players to wear while taking down crime. These range from multiple classic attires pulled from the comics to brand-new outfits like the Bodega Cat Suit, which allows Miles to battle alongside an adorable feline companion appropriately named “Spider-Man.” One of the most notable and interesting of these extra Spider-Man: Miles Morales costumes is the Programmable Matter Suit, which Miles obtains after helping the young journalist Danika Hart investigate a secret laboratory experimenting with programmable matter. Miles takes some of this new tech and integrates it into his suit, allowing him to summon Iron-Spider-like appendages during takedowns.
