Stepping out of the familiar Mosou genre with its well known Warriors style games, Omega Force surprised many fans by announcing a completely new title in 2022 called Wild Hearts. Alongside publishing partner Electronic Arts, Wild Hearts takes inspiration from Capcom's massively popular Monster Hunter franchise in that players will be hunting large creatures known in the game as Kemonos.
Alongside the main hunting gameplay, aided by a unique building mechanic known as Karakuri, players will also be spending plenty of their time gathering resources in the form of plants, minerals, as well as any harvested parts from slain Kemonos. In turn, players can use these items in a number of different ways from crafting better armor and weapons, to creating edible products that give players valuable bonuses while out in the wild.

While players will likely be harvesting important minerals for crafting like Demon Rock, they should also take care to keep an eye our for rarer type materials while out on the hunt. One such item is the Leporine Fruit, which can easily be missed for those who aren't looking for it.
Unlike many resources in the game, Leporine Fruit can't be found simply laying on the ground. With a large open zones to explore in Wild Hearts, players will need to keep an eye out for a small animal known as the Gladefruit Hare. The only place to find these plants and berries covered rabbits is in the starting location known as Harugasumi Way. Players will want to keep an eye out for them as they walk through the meadows and clearings and once found, players can walk up and pet the hares.
